The sampling site at Sary Taukum, Kazakhstan, is operated in cooperation with the Kazakh Scientific Institute of Environmental Monitoring and Climate. The NOAA/CMDL flask data from Sary Taukum show an increase in the annual mixing ratio from 369.35 parts per million (ppm) in 1998 to 378.09 ppm in 2002.
